ROSATO
Marche IGT
TASTING NOTES
Cimarelli Rosato, a Marche IGT Rosato, is a fresh and vibrant expression of the rolling hills of Staffolo, Italy. This expertly crafted blend of Montepulciano (50%) and Sangiovese (50%) showcases the complementary strengths of these varietals, resulting in a wine that is lively, elegant, and approachable. Grown in the Cru Coste vineyard at 380–400 meters above sea level, the grapes thrive in calcareous, clay-rich soils with a west-facing exposure, ensuring optimal ripeness and character. Harvested in September, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and controlled-temperature fermentation, followed by 8 months of aging in cement tanks and 1 month in the bottle for refinement.
With its delicate rosé hue and vibrant clarity, Cimarelli Rosato enchants with aromas of fresh red berries, subtle floral notes, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, crisp acidity elevates flavors of ripe strawberries, cherries, and citrus zest, underpinned by a mineral backbone and a clean, refreshing finish.
This versatile wine pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, summer salads, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses. Perfect for both casual gatherings and elegant occasions, Cimarelli Rosato blends tradition and modernity, making it a delightful addition to any table.
